Buyee abruptly terminated our account shortly after adding the extension and placing an order. They took our personal info and say that they can't even provide an explanation for terminating an account that we had only recently registered. The extension is also able to read data from all websites you visit, by default, which coupled with their sketchy business practices, raises a red flag. We have detailed our experience with them below: After registering for a Buyee account and providing them with all of our necessary information, we added the extension and were quickly able to add an allowed item from Amazon.co.jp to the Buyee cart. Buyee sent an email confirming the order and it was all good. The next day, we found that we were no longer able to log in to our Buyee account. We were certain that we were entering the password correctly and the 'Forgot Password' option gave an error whenever we entered our email address. We spoke to Customer Support through the online chat and described the situation. They said that they would have to look into it and would get back to us via email. Over a day passes and no word from them. We emailed their support this time, expressing our concern. After all, we were locked out of an account that had our Card and personal info and had no way of seeing what Buyee was doing regarding our order. They responded quickly and told us that they have terminated our account and that they can't say why. ..So after taking all of our personal data, they terminate our account without any notice whatsoever and they don't even have the courtesy to provide an explanation. This, along with the fact that their extension has the permission to read from any site you visit by default, raises a real red flag. We later read accounts of their exorbitant hidden fees and unprofessional conduct. We can definitely conclude that Buyee is not worth your business or time.
