Been using toggl for years. Great company, great product. The button is great if you use any of the apps it integrates with (you probably do; there's a lot). Very stable and useful.
Really handy having this plugin right on my browser. I like how it reminds me to track my time every so often. Great tool I use it all day, every day!
It barely functions. Often relying on it without 100% reliable internet will fail to open or close tasks and report the appropriate time. Then I am forced to use the weird and barely functioning web interface to enter the appropriate time durations, which often cause frustration because it seems to default to the wrong dates on manual entry (i.e. it will report I have worked over 26 hours if I take a break at noon, and clock back in the next day). It also seems to be suspect to the normal Chrome bugs; i.e. if using it over an extended period of time it will eventually consume a bunch of ram and lead to a browser crash. Often its intended advantages are lost since its functionality feels like a half-baked add on that functions maybe three quarters of the time. It also logs me out even if I am logged into the webface/ or in general is just inconsistent with staying logged in.
So helpful!
I really really love TOGGL and I'm extremely grateful to the Toggl team. The thing is that most of similar service providers allow people to use only the most basic features and try to charge you as soon as possible, however, Toggl free version is just PERFECTLY FINE and I don't feel being pushed by Toggl team to purchase it. I honestly even feel a bit ashamed that I use such great service for free... so a need arises for more Toggl feature (e.g. when I create my own business / team), I will definitely get a premium version. THANK YOU Toggl team :)
I use the integration to Trello--that is really great.
Good.
As a bookkeeper I need to track time spent on each client. I have been using the free version of toggl for over a year and have had no issues. Don't know what I would do without it. I love that it is so easy to use.
I really like using Toggl; however, as I keep the app open, I notice that I don't really use the button, instead going to the site to press 'Continue' most of the time. Haha. Oh well. It's not the button's fault, it's just the way I'm wired.
