PDF.js is a Portable Document Format (PDF) viewer that is built with HTML5.
PDF.js is community-driven and supported by Mozilla. Our goal is to create a general-purpose, web standards-based platform for parsing and rendering PDFs.
This extension offers PDF.js as the default PDF viewer in Chrome. This is the official Chrome extension of the PDF.js project. Be careful of unrelated copycats.
If you want to use this viewer to view local files, visit chrome://extensions/?id=oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm and put a check before "Allow access to file URLs".

Top Es gibt Szenarien wo man ihn ausschalten muss, damit man PDFs sehen kann (was unterschiedliche Ursachen haben kann, zum Beispiel wenn die Bank selbst einen Viewer in der Webseite einsetzt), wenn man das weiß, ist dieses Addon TOP!
Doesn't work for all PDFs, such as those that require lengthy downloading via complex mechanisms, including those at Hathitrust. However, it otherwise works superbly, and unlike the new default in the Chrome PDF viewer, it does not perform optical character recognition unasked, or at all. When you download PDFs for archival and research purposes, you don't want arbitrary OCR being done on files, and this plugin does not do that, which is great. You can build with the latest code at the Github repository. If you see a blank page when opening local PDFs, open the extension’s details page in chrome://extensions and enable Allow access to file URLs.
Was amazing, now I can only open old downloads, anytime I try to see new files it just shows me a blank screen where I can't do anything and the icon is gray.
When using "Page Scrolling" mode, you can't use mouse scroll wheel to scroll the page. (Should be performing like pressing PageUp/PageDown on the keyboard) This should be a very basic feature.

Это ужасно, как можно было так сделать, что бы при открытии pdf у тебя нагрузка на оперативную память доходила до небес. Я понимаю, что pdf это сложная технология, предусматривающая сохранение изображений в виде файла, но использовать для этого 8 гб?!! Да еще так, что происходит утечка памяти - это нужно постаратся
