A great tool with some features made me really impressed, such as- permanent removal and removing ads and all.

Great work on the extension! One feature request: could you make the element blocking domain-wide? For example, an element blocked on the GitLab 'Overview' page reappears when navigating to the main 'Projects' page. Persistence across the whole domain would make the tool much more effective.

After uBlock Origin's removal from Chrome because of Manifest V3, I no longer had access to the element zapper and was seeking an alternative to do just that. I stumbled upon your Reddit post from a year ago, and then I found this. It looks and feels more sleek compared to uBlock's zapper, and I'm glad I found it. Works like a charm.

I love the extension and works exactly like safari hide distracting items feature, you've made a great effort and free to use,

Needed something to consistently block an ad element after ublock origin was finally offline, and this works, if a little annoyingly. The other that guy gave one star because it didn't work in his use case is a douche. I digress. Feedback: 1) with this element blocker is the unnecessary animation which shows the element disappearing every time the page is reloaded. It's kind of annoying which is sad to say because it was probably extra coding effort to code. 2) Also a little hover textbox before I zap to see the HTML element name before zapping. The blue outline is great as is, but this would help with identification. 3) Also the toggle should disable itself after a zap, it's rare that someone is blocking multiple elements in a row. Maybe add that behavior as an option in that use case scenario? 4) instead of a lightning icon for the zapped elements, maybe a log file icon? maybe with a little lightning bolt in the corner? Just a lightning bolt made me first think there was no way to review blocked elements 5) also the little red OFF that's constantly on the icon is annoying and unneccessary. You can leave the ON when it's actually in use, but this is a very situational tool so by default it's off, and really only on for a few seconds when zapping. 6) I know we can delete zapped elements, but sometimes we just click on the wrong thing and finding the logs is annoying, especially if there's a long list of elements you've already zapped on that page. One way to bypass this problem is a quick confirmation box/undo option Clearly a thought out project, just recommend some real user experience feedback. Between you and me I would watch videos of how ublock origin used to work, a lot of people worked on making that a great tool. Great work!

Sadly, this doesn't seem to work. At least, it doesn't work the way uBlock Origin used to work (which was sadly removed from Chrome). Specifically, qbo.intuit.com is plagued with up-sell, side-sell, over-sell, unsolicited-reach-around-sell DIVs that just waste working space on pages. Classic example is when you go to the 'Bank Transactions' page to do some reconciling and there's that big banner at the top recommending (sellcommending) live bookkeepers. uBlock Origin could remove that handily. This? Not so much. Edit: We need to be able to edit zaps. I see what the problem is. Your picker doesn't let me select what I need to. If I hit F12, I can see the name of the DIV I want killed. If you are unable to let me select that F12 can select, let me edit the zap so I can enter the correct element name.
