This extension allows to find and delete duplicate bookmarks, empty folders, merge folders with the same name (within the same path), find no longer working and expired bookmarks and remove them easily.
Permissions explained:
1. Read and change your bookmarks(required on install) - required for core functions to work
2. Read and change all your data on the websites you visit(optional, not asked until you use Broken URLs checker) – to check if bookmarked page loads and doesn't return any error.

Does anyone know if this works in the Chromium based browser Vivaldi?
Excelente herramienta. Absolutamente recomendada.
Excellent feature to select all duplicates from same folder, which saves lots of time when removing duplicates after importing from another browser. Worked flawlessly after I cleaned up almost 500 duplicates (from 1000 in the list in total). It can also remove dead or inactive websites (URLs) and is highly effective in this as well. Definitely worth your time to download this!
не подошло. Пустые папки мне не нужно удалать, т.к. в каждой через слеш пишу путь в древе. Надо было проредить 40к ссылок где-то от 2-4 повторов, сражу обнаружил, что некоторые удалены без остатка. Теперь только с хрома экспортирую в эдж. при импорте все повторы чистит! А потом экспортирую обратно, предварительно почистив через notepad++ от остаточных фраз при создании
