This extension allows to find and delete duplicate bookmarks, empty folders, merge folders with the same name (within the same path), find no longer working and expired bookmarks and remove them easily.
Permissions explained:
1. Read and change your bookmarks(required on install) - required for core functions to work
2. Read and change all your data on the websites you visit(optional, not asked until you use Broken URLs checker) – to check if bookmarked page loads and doesn't return any error.

Находит дубли, проверят жизнь вкладки. Чего хочется, возможно авто порядка (сортировки). Группировка по сайту. Поиск дублей не идеал, все сыпятся на поддоменах и реф. мусора. Из 27тыс. найдено 27 дублей, своими силами 1560. Не смотря на это, хорошее расширение и надеюсь будет развиваться.
can be better for detect broken link, it doesn't check if cloudfare or similiar was here so be carefull, too many link was set to dead or 403... you need to verify this before delete..

Doesn't do anything for me. I tested it. I'm sitting here looking at multiple bookmarks of the same page but when I go to the extension it says there are no duplicates.
Saved my day!
If only it had an UNDO function or a message indicating what happens when you hover over eg. 'remove empty folders' - which I tried but followed with no confirmation dialogue/2nd step to select which ones first... doesn't even show what got deleted. Removed 50 & had to waste time remaking them, relying on my own memory but missing the rest! Thankfully I had exported not too long before.
