would be 5 stars if it worked on chrome based browsers on linux but only a little black box pops up on manjaro. it works great on my windows desktop but on my linux laptop it doesn't work.
Previously my review would have been five stars, but just recently it has stopped working. I'll click on it and it will say "Installing - I-know is setting up" then after a couple of seconds it will say "Set up a connection: Open your school's learning system and open I-Know." My school runs on canvas, the same thing I have used for years. It worked perfectly in the spring. Now, it is nonfunctional. The semester starts this week and I don't know how I will survive without it functioning. I tried reaching out to the creator through synov.net with no reply for over a week. I will update my review when this is resolved. I really did love this extension when it worked! I have used it since my second or third semesters of my college career circa 2016 or 2017. Now I am in grad school and I still rely on it. I believe I even paid for premium? Unsure it has been so long.
It won't load my assignments and keeps saying that I need to open my school's learning system and open I-Know. I've done this and have refreshed the page, removed and re-added I-Know but it still doesn't work.
BRING BACK THE ADD BUTTON I-Know has become an essential part of my day. I use it for everything. With the new update, the option to add an event has been removed for some reason. BRING IT BACK Also, the new update opens to tomorrow's items, not today.
Thanks for updating the extension without asking us what we wanted and releasing it before it was ready. Lost all my assignments, I want my money back. BOO
I love this extension, it's so helpful! Although, it updated and now it won't even let me access it.
I absolutely loved this app, but the recent update that was sent out wrecked the extension. There is no number any more on the calendar that shows me how many assignments I have on that day so I can look into the future and see. Also, the days on the calendar don't match the day the assignment is due. And now it won't even connect to my school's organization. Please pull this update and go back to the old one until you get these things fixed. having the calendar lined up with the actual due date is pretty important. I have loved using this application and I want to keep using it but these bugs make it so I can't use the application
Commenting on a new update (May 3 2021). Weird things started happening last night (assuming you were implementing on dev). - lost counter on the extension icon - clicking on it brought me an I-Know unlinked from the Canvas - tried to link - failed - today had to remove the extension and re-install it again (this made it work and showed new UI) Even though I like the idea of minimalism and simplifying the UI there are few things to consider: - You show the number of assignments due by displaying blue dots. They are too small (hard to see). - I am taking some heavy classes and I got 20+ assignments due Saturday. How are you going to show that number? It was super convenient to have a number representation of the number of assignments. This way I could plan ahead more efficiently if I can see that I have a heavy day. - It is Monday today, but the I-Know calendar doesn't show my anything for Satuurday. I would be nice to see assignment load for the entire week (again, if I have total 5 assignments due from Monday through Wednesday and 20 due Saturday it would be nice to know that in advance and start working on them early). Edit: Thank you for bringing the stress level feature back. It's amazing now.
I appreciate the extension very much but for about 2 months now I've reached out a few times for assistance with extension problems. If you even look in reviews a moderator says message through the app and they will replace faster (which it's been over a month and I haven't received a reply. ------- The Issue: I load up the extension on my Canvas and it says, "Oops, please login and try again." I do this maybe 2 times a day for 20 minutes logging out of canvas and back in. Same issue, uninstall extension and does the same thing. I've tried a few things in the settings of extension and just frustrated of the extension at this point.
Very heavy. It takes a long time to load. It's faster for me to check assignments manually in canvas. Also, it is very annoying that I have to manually check completed assignments. The good thing is the push notifications, but because you have to check your completed assignments manually, sometimes you get notifications for things that you've already worked on.
