Been very helpful in saving a few revision games but I need it to block youtube shorts in order to really be that effective
Works great! Installation guide was kinda hard to follow though. If you want to add a new feature: Decide on what to block in settings. For instance, right now it also blocks music, which does help (me atleast) to be more productive.
If you want something that hides non wanted videos and lets you choose which video categories to not show then the YouTube Focus Mode extension is for you: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/youtube-focus-mode/jedeklblgiihonnldgldeagmbkhlblek This extension doesn't block videos the way I would like it to. If you click a video that is entertainment it redirects you to the youtube home page. I would like it to hide the entertainment videos or gray them out. It is still pretty cool so I will will continue to use it.

The link in the description leads to a wrong site, one needs to search for "google coloud platform" to get to the right one (Also I didn't need to create a new account, somehow I already did that once or it just runs on my google account).
Are you serious? In order to use this garbage extension, I have to create an account that requires a credit card? Removed and reported.
Hello, can there be an option to include music videos? Or an option to select what content to block? Because although I find this very useful, music is important to me and the extention blocks music too
This is something amazing you have created. I wanted it so badly. I would suggest you to start collecting central information around video id and its category and use that to filter out category. I will be easier for the end users. This is something that I would even be ready to pay for every month but you can do some market research if more people are interested and make that service. So people who configure that google cloud account can use it for free others can just take the paid service.
