Beep is a voice feedback Chrome Extension that allows you to record and listen to voice notes and audio comments all within Google Classroom, Google Docs, and Gmail.
You never need to leave Google Classroom, Google Docs, or Gmail to record and play the voice notes. Easily replicate one of the most essential parts of the in-person in-classroom experience in a remote learning setting - it's the missing piece in digital education.
🤔 Why voice feedback?
Voice feedback can take the friendliness and ease of in person feedback without the logistics of in person meetings and without the difficult and time consuming work of writing pitch-perfect feedback. It's a great tool for bridging the gap in "distance learning" and "remote teaching."

Love Beep for recording voice notes for my lower readers!
This has made teaching my at home learners so much more effective. I find it easier to give meaningful feedback if I speak to them as opposed to writing it. It also humanizes me to the students as they rarely see me.
Facile d'utilisation et tellement pratique! Permet des rétroactions plus développées et donc plus pertinentes pour les élèves. Aucune raison de ne pas l'utiliser!
Its Good ,Really good but i think some times it stops after recording for 3min
Très simple à utiliser et utile.
Зручно. Дякую
I am a language teacher and this extension helps my students with the listening component of the programme. I find that it is very useful as I can add it to my documents for reading or a listening comprehension.
This app makes my life, and the lives of my students, much easier. Thanks for all you do.
Beep has revolutionized my grading workflow by allowing me to record detailed, personalized audio feedback on essays in a fraction of the time it takes to type. This extension helps me convey the supportive tone and nuance that written text often misses, ensuring my students feel coached rather than just corrected. It is an absolute lifesaver for any English teacher looking to build better connections with their students while finally conquering the grading pile.
Pretty fantastic! I LOVE that after I record my voice it appears as a play button right inside the classroom post or comment and my students don't get taken to a separate website to hear it. I wish, however, it had some capabilities like Mote in that I could copy/paste the directions I leave to my students in the Google post and they get transcribed and recorded by an AI voice. That saves me time, but unfortunately Mote won't put a play button right inside the post. I would love to be able to record my voice OR copy/paste what I wrote and have an AI voice read it and ALSO have a play button right inside the post or comment in Google Classroom so my students can play it without having to hear the recording from another website.
