Teal has helped me keep things organized. It is user friendly, intuitive, and reduces the work of tracking all the jobs to nearly nil. I was keeping them on a big notepad (handwritten), with lines drawn like an excel sheet, marking them with stars if I hadn't heard, dates applied etc. I applied to over 38 jobs between November 2022-December 2022, before Teal. I was exhausted, and knew I had not entered them all on my notepad. Teal took all this work out, and allows me to sort by the ones I have applied to, and the ones I want to apply to. I have also been rejected by one, so I can mark that too! Moreover, Teal is intuitive, easily able to add to list as I am "job shopping," adding jobs from LinkedIn and Indeed. It is easy, it is smart. One feature I particularly love is that Teal allows me to rate my excitement level, which helps me decide which position to apply to first, based on interest. I also like that I can delete postings that were deleted, or are no longer accepting applications. I highly recommend Teal as the go-to tool for "jobs applied to" tracking and organization. I seldom if ever add extensions, but Teal's whole package persuaded me to do it! Thanks Teal and David Fano for creating this extension! Best job tracker EVER.
Teal is awesome! It has helped keep jobs and contacts organized at all stages of the application process. I love that you can easily add a job to your job tracker from LinkedIn as well. So glad this tool was recommended to me.
This is it! There are people/companies charging thousands to do what Teal does. If you ever had the experience in undergrad that you needed a friend to proof-read your essay at a random time AND actually knows how to direct you on improvements, well, Teal is that friend you always needed!
The tool is beneficial to anyone that is seeking to improve on their essay or to simply use it as a database aggregator for all jobs applied in one single location. I used both the resume builder and the job tracker and would highly recommend adding this extension to your browser if you use job sites like indeed, monster, glassdoor, ziprecruiter, linkedin. there are still a couple I have yet to try (CyberCoder) but so far I have had a faster process in tracking all my jobs applied in one single location. Some feedback would be that I think that there could be a different overlay for the job tracker (maybe an applied button along with the saved button for jobs listed when pressing the application). The UI on the browser application is wonderful, the extension however could use a little bit of improvement. The resume builder could use a bit more work on ingesting previously created resumes, I had multiple misreads and had to correct a good portion (my f's were altered to become spaces). Overall feel and design of the app that works with multiple job sites is great. Hope to see it blossom into a greater app that will help those who want to track all job applications on one site.
this is an easy way to have an organized track of the jobs you have applied, you can easily see when you applied, from which website you applied. you also can set a reminder date for follow up. and many more features in regards to which steps of the application you are. There are a lot of tips how to make a better resume.
