WebP / Avif image Converter: convert, download and store images from the web just the way you want.
How does it work?
After downloading the extension you get a new button *Convert and Save image as* in the image context menu (When you right click on an image). Now the image is being processed and downloaded based on your preferences. Conversion to JPG, PNG and WebP are supported.
These preferences can be set in the option menu that you can reach by clicking on the extensions’ browser button located on the top right of your browser next to the address bar.
Note that the "browser button" may be hidden. If you want to quickly change the settings pin it to your extension bar. This can be done by clicking on the "extension" (looks like a puzzle piece) next to the hamburger menu / user login. Find the button and click on "pin".

Doesn't work at all. After clicking the button, the save option shows it in ".htm". Manually typing the extension only makes the image download fail.

It doesn't work! Even though the webp is convert as png, the webp image is still as webp! 😒
Good, also please update this add-on on firefox browser.
I've been using this for a while and it stopped working for a bit in March but it is working again. Maybe in a future patch you can add a way for us to contact you if it stops working again. I would hate to see you get bad reviews for a working product. Also, if you are upset about the extension always defaulting to the same folder instead of remembering, that appears to be a flaw in Chrome itself and not the extension. Also, I'm using this on multiple machines now and I've never noticed any browser hijacking or odd popups where I have heard that about other extensions.

The Extension was stopped working, its not popup, checked in different Laptop's, so i think the developer was not aware or ignored.... its not functioning
