WebP / Avif image Converter: convert, download and store images from the web just the way you want.
How does it work?
After downloading the extension you get a new button *Convert and Save image as* in the image context menu (When you right click on an image). Now the image is being processed and downloaded based on your preferences. Conversion to JPG, PNG and WebP are supported.
These preferences can be set in the option menu that you can reach by clicking on the extensions’ browser button located on the top right of your browser next to the address bar.
Note that the "browser button" may be hidden. If you want to quickly change the settings pin it to your extension bar. This can be done by clicking on the "extension" (looks like a puzzle piece) next to the hamburger menu / user login. Find the button and click on "pin".

It does the thing
Does NOT convert .webp anymore.
Everytime I try to download something, it always pre-selects the default download folder of my browser, instead of the folder where I last saved to. Incredibly annoying.
A fantastic Application that has saved me a TON of time!
Since the latest Chrome and Brave updates, this extension has become inconsistent. It works intermittently but frequently fails to load or function correctly. I suspect the transition to Manifest V3 might be causing these regressions. Could the developer please look into a compatibility update?
Χρειάζεται αρκετή βελτίωση ακόμα, πράγμα που στα 5 χρόνια χρήσης ο κατασκευαστής ΔΕΝ έχει ενδιαφερθεί καθόλου! Εγώ περίμενα πως η μετατροπή της φωτογραφίας .webp, θα γινόταν αυτόματα .jpg (χωρίς περιττές εξηγήσεις και επιλογές), απλά με την επιλογή του κουμπιού download, στο φυσικό μέγεθος και ποιότητα της αναρτημένης εικόνας. Ακόμα κι αν συμβιβαστείς με αυτό, η εφαρμογή ΔΕΝ αποτυπώνει την τελευταία διαδρομή αποθήκευσης, με αποτέλεσμα κάθε επόμενη αποθήκευση να πρέπει να την επιλέξεις χειροκίνητα. Με έχει κουράσει αρκετά αυτή η εφαρμογή και είδη ψάχνω για μία πιο αυτοματοποιημένη.. κ. Χίλμπερτ Άικελμπουμ ΔΕΝ εξέφρασα ποτέ κανένα είδους αίτημα για να πετάγεστε εναγωνίως να δικαιολογήσετε τα αδικαιολόγητα!.. Απλά εξέφρασα την γνώμη μου για την εφαρμογή σας, μετά από πολυετή χρήση και η γνώμη μου ΔΕΝ σας άρεσε!.. Όμως ήταν μεγάλη αστοχία να μου επιτίθεστε δημοσίως προσωπικά και μέγα μικρο-καρδία, να μεριμνήσετε ώστε να χαθεί η εφαρμογή από τον φυλλομετρητή μου, επειδή παρεξηγηθήκατε.. Να είστε σίγουρος, πως αν συνεχιστούν του είδους οι πρακτικές, ότι θα ενημερώνω πάραυτα τους χρήστες για το ποιόν του χαρακτήρα σας (άρα και αυτών των εφαρμογών που φτιάχνετε!).. Καλή σας τύχη.-
from last 1-2 weeks, whenever I try to use this ext. it crash. Please solve this issue
I LOVE this extension! I use it every day & it is a huge time saver! I have a (hopefully) small request that would make it even better for me. For JPG/JPEG files, add the option to convert JPEG to JPG. It would make it easier to know if the pic already exists as JPG & easier when searching my PC for filetypes.
Really helpful, speeds up the process and works perfectly .
Antes eu conseguia usar, agora ao clicar em converter o navegador fecha sozinho.
