WebP / Avif image Converter: convert, download and store images from the web just the way you want.
How does it work?
After downloading the extension you get a new button *Convert and Save image as* in the image context menu (When you right click on an image). Now the image is being processed and downloaded based on your preferences. Conversion to JPG, PNG and WebP are supported.
These preferences can be set in the option menu that you can reach by clicking on the extensions’ browser button located on the top right of your browser next to the address bar.
Note that the "browser button" may be hidden. If you want to quickly change the settings pin it to your extension bar. This can be done by clicking on the "extension" (looks like a puzzle piece) next to the hamburger menu / user login. Find the button and click on "pin".

Can't imagine my browsing experience without this little goldmine on my side.
Muito bom e prático!
Very google extension, it simplifies the download and conversion of images. It is actually a game changer in my point of view, 'cause I was getting tired of having to convert manually images from this crazy .webp format all the time I tried to save a image. Thank you a lot for automating this!

Hopped over from another webp to png extension that took a bit of a nose dive. This one's good for what I needed it for (Not having to fiddle with more programs after downloading webp. files, and also keeping image transparency).

Does what it says it'll do. However, I needed this specifically to download old images that were hosted on Photo Bucket and were embedded in forums. The embedded image has a Photo Bucket watermark, opening in a new tab doesn't. However, even when saving from a new tab where the watermark is gone, this extension somehow saves a copy with the watermark as if I hadn't opened it in a new tab. It became useless for my needs so I uninstalled it.
