Simplfy Gmail indeed changes the UI in a positive way. But right now there are thousands of people that inexpressibly deeply miss the Inbox. And i was wondering and hoping someone can tell is it really so difficult to recreate the same client. I bet there will be many people willing top pay a subscription for it especially if there is web + mobile client. I am talking about the true spirit of Inbox, starting from the new mail button that would suggest the most frequent contacts when you hovered on it, bundels in the inbox but also in "done", the gentle expand when viewing mails and so much more. Ok, some things may not be possible, I understand you cannot integrate so deeply into google ecosystem if you develop from outside. But is it really so hard to develop at least to some extend and why nobody is jumping on this train?
honestly, like a breath of fresh air. so much cleaner and, to boot, makes themes look so much better as well.
This makes gmail so much cleaner.
Thank you - I just installed it, and if it does nothing else but limit the width of views to a human readable column width this is more than worth it's weight in gold. I'm also using mixmax to limit the width of my own messages in emails, because on 4K monitors it's possible to have a paragraph turn into one line otherwise. Great work!
This is amazing. It's brings back the minimalistic design to life. Very happy with it and hope many people know about this chrome extension.
Love it, thank you so much Michael! Makes the transition back to Gmail bearable and looking forward to a fix for re-adding cal, keep, tasks on the RHS?
Looks awesome and allows me to further ease transition back to Gmail. If only we had Trips and Location reminders ;)
Can't get it to do anything. Is there some trick to enabling it? Should it appear as an option in themes?
Awesome! Any chance you could create this extension for Firefox? Chrome just take up so much RAM and space lol :p
This makes gmail much more bearable, thank you! RIP Inbox
