Hover your mouse over any image on the supported websites and the extension will automatically enlarge the image to its full size, making sure that it still fits into the browser window.
This is an open source version of the original HoverZoom extension which is now overrun by malware and deleted from store. In this version all spyware has been removed, many bugs were fixed and new features were added. It doesn't collect any statistics by default. The only permission it needs is to access data on all websites (to extract full images), and *optional* permissions to access browser history, download/save images or get tab urls for per-site configuration.
Sometimes sites change design and when it happens extension needs to be updated. Please report any issues with zoom not working by using Support tab or https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/issues page.

not active all with fb
It stopped working on facebook. tried with two different browsers, reinstalled the extension. edit: it works now edit: I noticed it also doesn't work on reddit (hoverzoom.js:875 [HoverZoom] Failed to load image: https://preview.redd.it/2pltp9v0a6r61.jpg). it works if I open an image, not in the timeline.
It's nice and all but like 80% of media on any website just doesn't work like it did before, shame.
I've had this extension for years, and it works for the most part. However, recently it has stopped working on Facebook. I have refreshed my FB pages numerous times over the last few days and it still doesn't work. Is there a way to fix this?
This is the best one.
So, I tried Hover Zoom+ out on Chrome: it won't display a popup when hovering over images on the front page of ArtStation as well as in artists' galleries! When using Imagus on this site, enlarged images pop up right away!
