Hover your mouse over any image on the supported websites and the extension will automatically enlarge the image to its full size, making sure that it still fits into the browser window.
This is an open source version of the original HoverZoom extension which is now overrun by malware and deleted from store. In this version all spyware has been removed, many bugs were fixed and new features were added. It doesn't collect any statistics by default. The only permission it needs is to access data on all websites (to extract full images), and *optional* permissions to access browser history, download/save images or get tab urls for per-site configuration.
Sometimes sites change design and when it happens extension needs to be updated. Please report any issues with zoom not working by using Support tab or https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/issues page.

Go into the extension's options, Advanced tab, and check "Add viewed pictures to the browser's history" so the links go purple and don't remain blue. This, my friends, is the key!

No longer works to scroll through images, or video. ChromeOS. Switched to imagus. Still works on win10 though.

Hi Thanks for the response. Yes it's working now.The images are loading now. However, the scales are still not correct. The image you get when zoomed and when clicking on the image, is different. usually the thumbnails are cropped compared to the full image. The extension actually zooms the cropped image and doesnt give the full image.
It is difficult to go back to clicking image and videos links after having Hoover Zoom+ installed. Browsing the internet just isn't the same without this extension.

Used to work great, really loved it, but recently it seems almost every image just flashes off and on, very annoying. I have tried reinstalling it and still does the same thing on about 75% of images.
