Hover your mouse over any image on the supported websites and the extension will automatically enlarge the image to its full size, making sure that it still fits into the browser window.
This is an open source version of the original HoverZoom extension which is now overrun by malware and deleted from store. In this version all spyware has been removed, many bugs were fixed and new features were added. It doesn't collect any statistics by default. The only permission it needs is to access data on all websites (to extract full images), and *optional* permissions to access browser history, download/save images or get tab urls for per-site configuration.
Sometimes sites change design and when it happens extension needs to be updated. Please report any issues with zoom not working by using Support tab or https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/issues page.

I did not like it insome cases it works. But in some it doesn't even in websites like google.com or fb.com By the way it does not play video in youtube.com as per me.

Absolutely perfect. I removed the other one because I didn't like that the mouse stayed when viewing the pic and of course if you moved it the picture would disappear. Yours has the mouse disappear which is so helpful. Thank you so much for improving this extension.

It used to work amazingly! Now it only shows the pictures that comes from blogs (ex: When I'm on facebook, the pictures directly posted on fb don't get zoomed when I hover over them... Except the pictures that comes from blogs or articles)... AND it no longer shows the videos!!! It only shows the IMAGE of the videos (thumbnails)... it no longer plays the actual videos!...

Since a month ago it has started to misbehave. Half of the times it won't load the zoomed image and it's getting really frustrating
