iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.

The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

It sort of work and offer some passwords from iCloud keychain into login prompts in Chrome (only chrome, no FireFox support AFAIK). However, I had probably too big expectations. Because I thought that if I have a keychain already i can use it as any other password manager (Keepass, LastPass). As it is supposed to be Apple product I expected it to be nearly perfect. Or at least useful password manager. BUT .. - on login page it shows that I have saved passwords and upon click on extension it shows a list, but without much of details so sometimes it's hard to choose right login if you have more then one stored - it offers ZERO ability to manually add or edit proposed credentials - maybe I'm missing something terribly, but there is NO way how I can change or anyhow manage stored passwords, neither from this extension, nor from iCloud for windows, or via https://www.icloud.com/ from Chrome - not sure if it will vanish once I set this browser trusted, and will probably if I would turn 2FA off, which is nothing I would do/recommend, but every time I start chrome that iCloud for windows pops up verification code to be entered into extension to keep it working. That only one is not a bug or missing functionality as it comes from my setup and need for 2FA. But I felt that it's worth noting it here. In short: If you were looking for password manager, like LastPass replacement. Then keep looking elsewhere. As this is oversimplified synchronization only without any even basic password management options !
