iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.

The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

It's not as feature rich as some other options, but I love that it syncs between my devices for free and I hope they continue improving their Passwords app and adding new features. The one thing that annoys me that causes me to keep turning it off is that it often interferes with the built in Brave Browser password manager and other fields, and the interference is sometimes so bad that I cannot click the other fields, which requires me to turn it off.

Very poor extension. Frequently glitches. I encounter synchronization issues daily. Apple--fix it!

It works passively good in Chrome and Edge but not in other Chromium-based browsers such as ChatGPT Atlas. It is very clunky how you have to keep entering in a pop-up code. This is what keeps bringing me back to Safari as my main browser. Unless you want to pay for a subscription, sticking with Safari seems to be the only way to have a reliable password manager without paying subscription fees

Doesn't have the same functionality as competitors who are able to generate new secure passwords in Chrome on sign-up to different sites. That feels like an essential part of a password extension and stops me recommending this as a replacement for other well known password managers. If I'm using Chrome I don't want to have to go off to Safari or the passwords app every time I need to create a new account somewhere. This will also get in the way of enterprise adoption of this tooling.

Eklenti iCloud güncelleme sonrası iCloud parolalar'ı açmak yerine iCloud uygulamasını açmaya çalışıyor. Şu an uzantı hiçbir işe yaramıyor.
