iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.

The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

Wer in beiden Welten unterwegs ist, der wird dieses Tool lieben! Ich nutze einen Microsoft Windows 11 Rechner mit Google Chrome Browser und Apple iPhone & iPad Geräte. Die Browser-Erweiterung auf dem PC unter Chrome funktioniert bei mir problemlos. Damit kann ich sehr bequem auf meine im iCloud-Schlüsselbund gespeicherten Zugangsdaten zugreife bzw. neue Einträge erstellen. In Verbindung mit der iCloud funktioniert die Synchronisation der Zugangsdaten perfekt! Das Handling finde ich dabei ebenfalls überzeugend. Die einmalige Eingabe eines 6-stelligen Codes nach dem Start von Chrome nehme ich dabei zugunsten der Sicherheit gerne in Kauf!
