iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.
The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

There seems to be NO support for passkeys on Windows, so that makes it useless. There is also a bug that it removes 2FA setup keys from iCloud Passwords on Windows. If you have previously manually created a password for a site like "www.ebay.com", when you use this extension and login to it, the extension will delete the 2FA code from the Passwords app on Windows. It appears to do this because it tries to add an additional website (signin.ebay.com). Luckily you can get the Setup key out of your iPhone Passwords app and reset it up on Windows. It will also delete all your Notes..
Works perfectly without an issue as of 2025-03-07. Maybe there were issues before, but I have no complaints.
Doesn't do anything except either opens the Password app or asks you to open the page in Safari.
Works as expected
Doesn't seem to work for me for some unknown reason, it happened since yesterday or day before after updating Chrome. PS. Still not working unless I click the saved info from the iCloud Passwords at the top. Also another note, this worked on Chrome on Windows before but now it doesn't work at all unless I click the password via the icon at the top where the Chrome extensions at which has made it more annoying than to simply click the password in the login pages on websites.
No funciona. Me indica que debo activar la extensión de contraseñas en iCloud para Windows pero ya está activada en la aplicación de iCloud. Antes funcionaba y ha dejado de salir el código para activar la sincronización.
Tous ceux qui s'expriment là sont mécontents. C'est difficile de faire un système de gestion de mots de passe simple et efficace et je trouve qu'apple s'en sort très bien. Je suis sur mac bien sûr :)
seems to work well at the moment, looking at the other reviews I guess we'll have to see. I'm on a baller pc so idk if experiences will differ. Was a very simple process, downloaded Icloud app from the microsoft store, initialised it and then came onto here added the extension and then I got a notification from my pc with the code, and then it was all connected. IDK what some people are talking about when it comes to needing an apple device on bluetooth. I'll edit this if it doesn't work properly later down the line.
