iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.

The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

Really bad alternative to 1password... You need to type the verification code all the time and on top of it it asks you to open the passwords app and type the password there too all the time... Not apple level of UX.

Cool ist, dass alle Passwörter synchronisiert werden. Aber es nervt irgendwie, weil es in vielen Feldern erscheint und Web-Apps dann überblendet werden. Auch wird der google Passwort Manager unterdrückt. Aber wenn man dort noch viele Passwörter hat, ist das doof.

Ne fonctionne plus depuis la mise à jour de novembre 2024. L'extension affiche le message "Activez < Mots de Passe > dans iCloud pour Windows..." En revanche la liste des mots de passe s'affiche enfin.

Works great. I plan to stop using Nordpass if all continues to go well. It's much faster than Nordpass and feels native. Now, figure out how to add 2FA authentication and we're cooking!
