iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.
The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

this is not ready. makes you touchid for every input field. makes you enter that totp for no good reason. i'm switching back to 1password
I have to assume the negative reviews are largely user error. Perhaps they missed the step to enable the extension using the TFA code or something? I've used it without issue as I've been dying to be able to stop manually re-inputting passwords as I transition to using Chrome more often. This is a very very very welcome feature!
tengo inconvenientes con la extension del llavero icloud en windows, despues de darle a intalar la extension, el llavero sale con un fondo plomo y con la rayita que indica que no esta activado. El detalle esta que al estar con el fondo plomo, es como si tuviera alguna restriccion, me manda configurarlo en icloud app, pero ya esta hecho.
This extension is not ready to compete with 1Password and others. Too many connection requests between the extension and the Apple account (the 6 digits), need to enter the touchid too many times (not practical when using a keyboard without the touchid). The extension does not allow you to see the vault quickly, you have to go to the Mac app. The password saving popup sometimes works well, sometimes does not appear and other times does not save anything. So many things to improve, especially the autologon (automatic logon after filling). In this state, the extension and the application are useless.
I doesnt work. I cant make it approve me thru icloud app in windows in order to access extension.

As confirmed by so many others, it simply does not work. Don't bother to download.
