This extension provides a UK extended keyboard layout in Chrome OS. How to enable: after installing the extension, head over to chrome://settings/languages then add English (UK), and check the "UK extended" option. If the option does not show up, sign out once and retry the procedure. Switch keyboard layouts with Alt+Shift until you hit the UK extended keyboard (symbol: EN*).
This extension also provides a NZ English IME (macron accent available with right-alt+vowel), as well as a Te Reo IME.

Known issue: if this stopped working after updating to M36 please see crbug.com/397143 for a workaround (Chrome OS 37+ should not be affected)

i don´t see the option in the layout list
This extension does indeed allow you to use backquote to type characters with a grave accent, however I need to type an ñ (I'm learning Spanish) and to do that I still have to switch to the US International keyboard. Can we not, please, have a UK international keyboard that gives us the same flexibility as the US one?
First time alright. After two days doesn't work anymore. Chromebook is the same, nothing changed. Please fix it 'cause italian people really need it!
It works but its supposed to start as default, instead of switch on at every access!
Funziona, ma sarebbe meglio si potesse impostare come layout predefinito e non essere obbligati a fare uno swich ad ogni login. Unico vero problema sta nel fatto che possa essere usata solo dall'utente SuperUser, un utente User non può accedervi... sistemate e darò 5 stelle.

This extension is not currently working with either the beta or developer channels of ChromeOS.
The UK extended keyboard function of typing grave accents doesn't work with this keyboard. It isn't any different from the standard UK keyboard on chrome.
