Saved my HP chromebook. Nice and easy install using Kingston usb drive.
Totally useless. Gets stuck at "Get Started". It WON'T get started. My fault for buying a Chromebook in the first place because I can see no way of getting it started again.
Good app allows to create a recovery media for chromebook
Es una app muy descuidada, repleta de errores. Lo peor es que se trata de la unica herramienta que existe para recuperar una chromebook.
This doesn't work. Your entire security model for Chrome OS is beyond absurd. ... and not having any sort of native application development interface, isn't "revolutionary" it's STUPID. Retiring "apps" has scared off the tiny handful of developers willing to "work with" this MESS of a system. There's not even a decent TEXT EDITOR for your system, so we all have to rely on a semi-working Linux VM. One that you've chosen to wrap inside a specialized VM (STUPID ... we don't work for the NSA ... these are cheap laptops for CHILDREN) ... and instead of just using cgroupsv2 like any SANE company ... you've done this. Passthrough to Linux is broken except for TTY and ADB .... STUUUPPPPID. Not to mention it's slow. REally slow ... even on high end systems that are FAST. Then you go ahead and release something like THIS. This isn't even alpha quality. This is what I'd expect from some student (a freshman at that) .... or maybe some outsourced team that's fighting a language barrier ... but honestly I'd expect more from them. This is garbage. You are garbage. This whole system is garbage. .... but it does look pretty.
Does not recognize the USB drive, on Mac, no matter what I do and try. Clearly Google is not testing this tool for even just the basic functionality, shame.
Works perfectly.
