This extension is built for West Coast Dental Service’s private use to streamline patient location tracking within the practice management system. By monitoring user interactions—such as clicking on “Move to Operatory,” “Check In,” or “Check Out”—it identifies which operatories or rooms patients occupy. The extension dispatches these minimal data points (like patient ID and appointment status) to our secure internal endpoint for workflow analytics and staff coordination.
No unauthorized data is collected or transmitted. The extension functions on all domains using permissions that let us inject scripts, observe relevant network requests, and run minimal data captures. We do not store any personal health data locally; everything is transmitted over secure, internal channels, fully compliant with HIPAA standards. This extension is intended solely for West Coast Dental employees.
