Use this extension to sign in to supported websites with Microsoft work or school accounts on Windows (10 and later versions) or macOS (11 and later versions). If you have a Microsoft Entra ID on your Windows or macOS computer, this extension enables improved Single Sign On for supported websites. You may still see additional authentication prompts like multi-factor verification depending on the access requirements for various applications, resources, and organizations.
This extension is required for certain device-based conditional access policies for Microsoft Entra ID. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/conditional-access/concept-conditional-access-conditions#supported-browsers
For macOS, this extension requires the device to be managed and requires the additional installation of Company Portal: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/user-help/enroll-your-device-in-intune-macos-cp
Note: If you are experiencing difficulties with signing in or accessing resources, it could be related to your organization’s device policies. Please submit a support ticket directly to Microsoft through your tenant’s subscription. The developer email address for the extension is not an avenue for customer support.

Microsoft believes the extension not being installed when trying to sign in, although it is. I'm not sure whether they test their stuff at any point in time :-(
The lousy performance of this extension can only be the result of an intentional plan to force Chrome users to use Edge. Well, that won't happen. But, furthermore, Microsoft better fix the issues soon or they'd be contributing to a legal case about market power abuse... (Google lawyers, pay attention!).
...Sie müssen die Erweiterung installieren um... Schade, ist schon installiert - tut wohl nicht.
Can I give 0 stars? Like some others I don't use edge (use vivaldi) and have to login all the time, and when I do I get the response saying to install this extension, guess what it's already installed. I'm finding I have to uninstall and reinstall each time as well. I'm not going to use edge, live with it.
Eine neue Schlacht der Browser Wars. Funktioniert selten.
I am required to login in ALL.THE.TIME. Repeatedly. Over and over, as if my browser doesn't recognize that I JUST logged in. I too think it's MS trying to push their Edge browser! C'mon, Microsoft....do better please.
works no issue
Lol like they say, this thing doesn't do bupkis. Somebody pushing their Edge browser? Seems anti competition like to this observer.
Never works, always have to re download it each time.
We have deployed this solution across our Macs using Jamf, but it does not work as expected. 1. The Chrome browser shows as non-compliant in Azure. 2. The SSO intermittently works, causing inconsistency in user access.
