This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar. Click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you're visiting.

The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page you're on is different from the language you're using for your Google Chrome interface. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. Click the Translate button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.

I rarely need to translate an entire page. the lack of facility to translate a selection of text therefore makes the extension kind of pointless for me, since I usually have to open Translate in another tab, and copy and paste the selection there. This was not so well thought through.

works better than the integrated translation of chrome on proxyfied network. some problems with some pages, and doesn't respect some regex/wildcard rules (syntax badly documented)...

Aparentemente faz o que promete, mas eu gostaria de traduzir somente uma seleção, então vou procurar outro aplicativo. Quando testei, a extensão traduziu bem rápido, inclusive sem dar refresh, permitindo voltar à original em um clique. Parece ser boazinha pra quem precisa. Dá pra trocar o idioma desejado na hora, inclusive colocar regras nos sites que você quer que traduza ou não. Legalzinha. Ah, não me recordo se ela detectou o meu idioma padrão ou se eu fui nas opções e alterei ele. Cheque isso se necessário.
