It does useful things and I continue to use it however what everyone is saying about the pop-ups is true. The app will definitely act similar to malware and pop-up annoying ads on your desktop. For example, here is one that came up for me today after restarting my machine: https://imgur.com/sWIVEgS Edit (2/29/2020): Here's another example: https://imgur.com/a/r2h2P5V Edit (3/14/2020): Another day, another popup from Magic Actions: https://imgur.com/a/toCFUKe Another thing it will do is throw pop-ups in your face saying Chrome is out-of-date (when it isn't) and it will also open additional tabs in your browser which I absolutely consider browser hi-jacking. For some reason there is a bot or scammer named Fernando K. J. that replies to a bunch of reviews saying they are a scam which, is pretty shady. Not sure if they are associated with the developer or not. Either way, if the author of the app would simply get rid of the annoying and malware-esque pop-up ads I wouldn't really have a problem giving this five stars. To be clear, I am not saying it is malware, just that it acts and does things similar to it. So, if you are looking at reviews wondering if you should use it, it could be OK and it will do useful stuff but keep in mind it could be doing some shady stuff in the background or just be annoying with the pop-ups on your desktop.

I don't trust the developers. Good functionality. Causes pop ups about updating your browser. Came on here and developer seems to be denying these are genine claims. Well they are.

I used to love this extension. For quite some time however I'm getting this annoying pop-up windows suggesting that my browser is outdated (it is not). It's even capable of stealing the focus e.g. during full-screen video playback. I have sent the message to the support, but no response after 8 days...
