The functional options are pretty decent, has lots of settings to customize how videos and playlists behave, as well as personalization options. If that was all it did it would be great! Over the past year it kept opening small windows every time I opened Chrome asking me to visit the website to see new features, which I didn't care about. Easy enough to simply close the window it created. Then the window kept telling me my version of Chrome is out of date which might put my data at risk. Maybe it is, but I don't know why a YouTube extension feels it needs to be the thing that tells me this. Final straw was today when it opened a new tab in my browser asking me to change my Google account security settings. No thanks, I'm not so invested in having my playlists and videos play automatically that I'm going to take demands from a browser extension. To summarize; perfectly functional if you ignore the shady popups, dubious support and obvious review bots.

Fu king horrible! It does what it says (while it is trying to get you to download all kinds of crapware). That's not my issue with the extension. My issue is that when you uninstall it, your YouTube settings do not go back to defaults. I cannot get rid of whatever it did to YouTube even after uninstalling this crapware extension. So I re-installed it, set my YouTube settings back - like setting the speed of video to normal speed - and uninstalled the extension, but all of the videos still default to 1.5x because I had tried that setting just once in this extension. Google should remove this from the play store.

The youtube features are nice. The popups and random 'security checks' are entirely unwelcome and you cannot disable them. Basically, this extension used to be amazing - and now it's full of bloat. Uninstalled.

Have used this extension for a couple years now and have loved it. Of course, it takes some memory and there are pop-ups about updating chrome and others. Recently though, I the tabs I have open with magic actions in cinema mode have been crashing, leaving me with the "Aw, snap" page. Has anyone else encountered this? Cleared my cache, reinstalled and updated chrome, cleaned memory...
