I use Magic Actions 1 year now and I'm happy. Lately though, the "Important News, Updates, etc..." and the "Google Chrome is not updated to the latest version" popups tend to ruin it for me. I was about to totally remove it today and say goodbye to its awesome features - instead I'm writing this review for the devs to maybe see this and remove the spamming... I wish these popups could disappear forever. I want to keep using it :-(

As other reviewers have said, the extension gives irrelevant popups. I'm not sure how the developer doesn't see the redundancy in having an extension with a function that does what Chrome already does in the first place (checking for updates and notifying you when out of date), but beyond that around half of the functions don't work as intended or don't work at all. Also with YouTube implementing some of the features that this extension offers, it's becoming a more and more unnecessary nuisance anyways. Advice to the developers: nix the update reminders and focus more on developing and fixing features than advertising.

How to remove "Update Chrome" popup: Navigate to chrome://version/ and go to Profile Path\Extensions\abjcfabbhafbcdfjoecdgepllmpfceif\(current ver.)_0\(folder with .js files). There find .js file that contains text "(2," and, just in case, the current version of extension. A piece of code "?X(2,c):" (the letters will differ in each version) needs to be changed to "?null:". In the file manifest.json remove ""key": "bla-bla-bla",". In browser turn on Developer mode in Extensions. And click on the "Load unpacked extension" button, select folder with manifest.json. Инструкция по удаления попапа "обновите хром": Из chrome://version/ копируем Путь к профилю и переходим в эту папку, дальше \Extensions\abjcfabbhafbcdfjoecdgepllmpfceif\(текущая версия)_0\(папка с .js файлами). Ищем .js файл, который содержит и "(2," и, на всякий случай, текущую версию расширения. Кусок кода вида "?X(2,c):"(буквы могут отличаться) меняем на "?null:". В файле manifest.json находим ""key": "абракадабра"," - удаляем. В Расширениях хрома включаем режим разработчика, жмём загрузить распакованное расширение, указываем путь к папке с файлом manifest.json.

The extension has plenty of useful features. However, each time I open chrome it opens it's own new tab to advertise "The Latest Important Changes, Updates & Breaking News". This is a very annoying "feature".
