Custom New Tab

Custom New Tab control for Chrome. Set custom new tab of your Chrome browser. It is minimalistic page without news feeds, recommendations, advertising, complex images.

By clicking "Add to chrome" you accept and agree to installing "High-Custom New Tab" extension and setting Chrome default search to that provided by the service and the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. The extension will update your search settings and will change your search engine to be powered by Bing.

as a volume manager it is great, but now it is changing my default new tab page to some absolute garbage? unfortunate that the developer does something stupid like that and makes me move to some other extension

Fine volume control but this replaced new tab page is nonsensical. Why would I want a volume manager to replace my new tab page? If there was an obvious way to disable the page, it might not be a problem. But as is, I am absolutely uninstalling

Love the extension but recent changes have made me give this extension a bad review. If you want a volume manager it works great but the most recent change, takes over your new tab screen. it controls which are your new recent sites and has a search bar which defaults to bing. There is a switch to google button but i should have the option to choose which is the default search engine. Changes which would make me rate this extension better: -Being able to disable the extension taking control of my new tab (VERY IMPORTANT) -if I were to use the new tab feature, i should be able to change the default search engine. I should have to use the button to change it. -have the new tab be more customizeable (select background color/image, etc).

It works exceptionally well, and unlike the previous solutions I used, it works with multiple tabs.

Please revert the change or at least add the option to toggle off the change of the "New tab" page. The functionality I'm using it for is amazing, but chaning the look of the "New tab" page is really annoying and unnecessary.

Latest update ads an ugly custom "new tab" with a Bing search bar.

Loved this extension until they added the new page with search bar. I have to assume they're hoping to collect data about what you're searching and sell it. Was 5 stars, now 1 star.
