Very much usefull
The app just does not work anymore - the icon is greyed out and It will not add any details to logins I already have!
I only gave this a one star rating because I couldn't give it a zero. Did anybody try testing this before it was released. It slows the browser down to a crawl, saves the login information but does not auto fill on sites it has saved. You have to login each time you launch the browser which is a huge waste of time. I was going to ask what you were thinking but it is quite clear there was no thought involved. I very much liked the older version and preferred storing the login information locally but I have been told this is no longer an option and forced me to use this version. When you release an "improved version" of something it should actually be improved or at least working. I guess we can all expect to see a refund for service paid for but not provided. Between this and the security suite giving false positives and quarantining applications, it's time to look elsewhere for something that does what they claim it will.
月額版のノートン360ではIDセーフが使えなくなってしまった。 Firefoxと同じようにブラウザ側の仕様変更が起因かもしれませんが、便利な機能だったのに残念。
While I preferred the previous way Norton Identity Safe worked, I understand why the changes were made, and in any case that ship has sailed. However one change seems unnecessary to where it is bordering on a bug. There are some sensitive websites where I do NOT want NIS (or anything else) remembering the login details. In the past I could tell NIS to "Never ask for this site". Now it prompts me to save the "new" login every time I login so that I have to click on "No, thanks", and I can find no way to tell NIS I never want to save the password.
Tool bar is gone I hate this upgrade Chrome is moving super slow when you go to a website that you have saved the password for . I want the tool bar back
Just like other complaints, when Symantec made the recent change to NIS, my Chrome browser slowed to a crawl. If I remove the extension, all works well. I've been a long time Norton user, but this change is not good and I cannot recommend it till Symantec fixes it!
Norton identity safe now sucks and since installing this upgrade many of my app are so slow I'm about to dump chrome and Norton
I really like the idea behind Norton Identity Safe, especially coupling it with an internet security company I trust and use. I also appreciate Norton's desire to improve their product. I never liked the idea previously of being forced to use the toolbar for identity safe to function within the browser. I cherish my browser real estate and would certainly prefer identify safe to simply work in the background without the use of the toolbar. However, the latest Norton Identity Safe extension for the Google Chrome browser has two serious problems. First, it is now more hit and miss if Norton Identity Safe will actually fill in the login and password on a given page. I almost never had this problem under the previous iteration. Now it seems to miss almost 25%. Second, it has slowed Google Contacts to be almost unusable. I suspect it is slowing access to other sites, but it is most prolific in Google Contacts. I have definitely diagnosed the problem to be the Google Chrome extension. The problem goes away when I remove the extension and does not exist at all if I use MS Edge with its Norton Identity Safe extension. I hope Norton is able to fix these problems soon before we are all forced to serious consider the myriad other options available. I trust Norton, but I need this fixed.
You guys fixed what wasn't broken. It went from totally reliable to not working at all. The toolbar went away. Horrible upgrade.
