Also known as "BTTV" or "Better Twitch TV" by the community, BetterTTV aims to add new features to Twitch and YouTube (in beta).

Here's some of the features we add:

• Extra emotes in chat - BetterTTV global and per-channel custom emotes

• Improved emote menu

• Custom keywords targeting phrases, words, users, and chat badges

• Split chat lines for easy reading

BetterTTV adds many quality of life features that should exist on Twitch and provides an actually useable emote menu on Youtube. The source is open for anyone to view and contribute to (though not build sadly). The BetterTTV service may not provide the same experience as other emote services, but the extension definitely feels the most polished and feature-complete.

7TV is better streamlined for emotes and multi-platform, FrankerFacez is better for chat/stream customization. I see no reason why anybody should use this extension anymore.

All the hate between the BTTV devs and 7tv is annoying. Just stop being a baby and work on supporting both platforms. Fix the auto-theater as it doesn't work anymore and hasn't for a while. This used to be the premier app but because of jealously it's turned into garbage. Only thing worth a damn anymore is the auto-claim and this is coming from someone who's suppported BTTV monthly since it's inception.Shameful.

!! clips confirm buttons appears every time i open any twitch page! and pressing buttons do nothing. FIX THIS! i only can delete all "ffz-clip-confirm-modal" line in CODE to continue using twitch. also disabling extension not helps!

Simplesmente o melhor! Depois de usar BTTV, FFZ e por último 7tv.. não há nenhum que seja tão "seamless" quanto o bttv, e agora aceitando os emotes dos outros 2 mencionados, voltei para ele. Prayge

Just bad. Didn't do anything in the past years and is frightened of competitors now. Tries to cut access for other, innovative, plugins. This is a very weird behavior. Uninstalled -> 7TV is better and will be even better, when many new features will be released soon.
