BlockTube gives you the control to customize your YouTube viewing experience. It allows you to block specific channels and videos that you don't wish to see or get recommended with.

The extension is lightweight and fast, integrated seamlessly and does not affect your browsing experience at all, to an extent that an unsuspecting user will never know it's there to begin with.

works perfectly!! the advanced blocking option is beautiful imported my blocklist from "Channel Blocker" which is another great extension for almost the same purpose

Beautiful! No more trash content "recommended for you" whenever I search for something completely unrelated. Works as intended and couldn't be easier. Done in two clicks.

俺が知る限り唯一の使えるコメントブロッカー 問題点はリロードの渦巻きマークがコメントの合間に残ってしまうバグとコメントブロックのし辛さ リロードマークの問題はブラウザを更新すれば一時的には直るようだが コメントブロックをする為にコメントの右端の「︙」マークをクリックして、次に出てくる報告とブロックボタンの下にあるブロックボタンを押さないとなのでその手間がキツイ 自分はUブロで報告ボタンを消しているのだが、表のコメントのわきに×マークがあって直接コメントをNGできていた、使えた頃の「チャンネルブロッカー」の便利さに見劣りする、ここは改善点だと思う だがつべグーグル社が悪意を持って不愉快なゴミコメントを人々に見せつけるよう（価値のある普通のコメントを見せないよう）意図的にコメントNG機能を設計せず、そういった拡張機能を妨害し、荒らしスクリプトコメを通報しても対応すらしていないこの状況で、悪のグーグルに歯向かうこの拡張機能設計者は立派です。

This addon is saving my sanity - at first I used it to block some specific channels with content that was disturbing and not related to my search by wildest margin, but now I just use bunch of keywords and I'm never surprised by gross content put into my 'compare two watercolor paper' searches. Interestingly, no matter the topics for search term, watercolor, craft, pets, health, psychology, woodworking, whatever - hijacking content was always of the same variety. I think someone hacked YT algorithms somehow, but this addon saves the day and peace that you won't be attacked with gross images while looking for something different.

Trying to block videos and/or channels using the context menu is not working once again. Clicking either option doesn't even remove it, it just acts like I never clicked it. Edit: I was just now able to block a channel using the context menu once again, thank you for updating it to work again!! 3/10/24 Edit 2: Blocking things using the context menu, or manually putting them in myself is not doing anything at all now.
