UPDATE ***** v4.0.5 - 21.06.2026: Thank you for listening and reworking the floating panel as well as the companion. Reassuring me and other users that this is "the extension" to download for Widescreen video content within a browser. Prior *** v4.0.4 - 09.06.2026: The recently forced upon Magnetic Helper (floating panel) in none fullscreen modes is just the beginning of this extension taking a horrible direction. Please proof me wrong that this is not a "dark pattern" to nudge users to get the pro version in future releases because unpaid users would only be able to "hide it automatically", which half of the time doesn't work regardless of the added shortcut in 4.0.4. Moving the mouse in the same window lets it pop out even tho users are not in full screen. If you were to let the extension operate like the years before or any other of the 99% of extensions and use the dedicated space in the browser extension area I wouldn't be convinced this is annoying by design. Nenad I know you put in much time and effort into this extension over the years of development and I am grateful your extension as it is and was the first most useful extension in wide screen space. I know you can do better in that area and don't need to resort to these type of pattern. Thank you a long standing users

Latest updates introduces a floating icon on top of every video. Disabling does not work. Also the grey YouTube bars are no longer changed to pure black. Developer doesn't acknowledge that his vibe coded update is terrible. Uninstalling this..

Literally reading all these reviews of not a single happy person after this new update, and your responses are shocking... Rather than actually listening to what people want from this you decide to be arrogant and double down? I appreciate a lot of work goes into this, and I have loved it until now but... This was a perfect extension, no idea why a floating bubble was necessary in changes? Please do enlighten me rather than just pointing me to my chrome extension shortcuts. Also, why make it animated??? I could have maybe just maybe dealt with a floating button, but an obnoxious animation going off every 3 seconds on any web page with video??? Will be looking at these reviews to find an alternative unless anything actually changes.

I found in the chrome extension shortcuts, it was ALT SHIFT "V" in VOICE. but no auto preset for toggle(empty field). I'll try to restart chrome, but if it still doesn't work. I'm uninstalling. This was a simple perfectly functioning product, shouldn't have messed with it. Seems to have fixed it. I'm guessing the AUTO-Hide trigger (Preferences) up is a premium thing?

They added a massive green floating button that randomly appeared today and can hardly be disabled. Every single time you load a new video on youtube it comes back. The purpose of this button? For some reason the settings are kept in there and not on the extensions bar. Like what was the point to begin with? You can't even change the settings if you aren't on a page that has video, since the green button only appears on videos. Completely useless. Seeing the recent negative reviews, you should seriously reconsider your latest update because this isn't it. Time to look for a new extension, which is a shame, considering I've been using this extension for over 3 years at this point and loved it. When I come back I hope the button will have been removed. Better yet, give people the option to permanently disable it IN SETTINGS and bring back the dropdown in the extensions bar.
