Authenticator generates two-factor authentication (2FA) codes in your browser. Use it to add an extra layer of security to your online accounts.

Always keep a backup of your secrets in a safe location.

Encrypting your secrets is strongly recommended, especially if you are logged into a Google account.

Features:

- Add accounts by scanning QR codes

- Search your accounts by pressing "/"

I have to use this to access a group app we use. This is consistently the hardest app to use. I need to generate a code for the site and it won't give me me - I also specifically purchased a google chrome friendly laptop as this doesn't work on apple - only to have to have the same issues.

Great extension, thanks, very handy the codes can be encrypted and bound to domains, and secured with a password. Only annoying thing is hitting enter on password prompt closes the popup instead of submitting the form and showing the codes.
