This extension makes it easy to temporarily disable power management on Chrome OS.
It adds an icon in the upper-right corner of the browser that can be clicked to switch between modes where the screen is kept on (sun icon), the system is prevented from sleeping (sunset), or power-saving settings are left unchanged (moon).

No, but if an external display is connected, recent versions of Chrome OS will remain awake when the lid is closed.

Chrome book still goes to sleep. It needs more coffee.
Randomly goes to sleep mode if i dont check it.

Doesn't do anything and my computer still idles within 10 minutes.
Is there anyway to revert back to an older version? I'm using it on a chromebit that doesn't update any more and since this app up dated I can no longer use it.
Worked great for a long time. Recently, it stopped doing anything. Click on the icon, nothing happens.
Doesn't work anymore >:(
Don't know what happened to it today (August 4th, 2023) but it stopped working completely. The icon that normally stayed as a sunny day it isn't clickable anymore and it changed to the picture of a moon. Right-clicked to check options and it they are grayed out.
it really works but also if you put it on the day icon your battery goes down significant amount
Worked great for a while, but lately it seems to have lost its oomph.
