Obsidian Web Clipper is the best way to save, highlight, and interpret the web:
- Save anything: From news articles and blog posts to recipes, product pages, and research papers — if it's on the web, you can save it.
- Highlight: Easily highlight important passages, and save highlights to Obsidian. When you return to a page, your highlights are visible.
- Interpret: Use natural language to extract and modify data from pages. Compatible with any model provider including local model options.

Just wanted to say that I use this daily, and it just works really well. Thank you so much for providing this for free!
Takes a bit of playing around to figure out all the features. Parsing rendered pages for relevant content will never be 100% accurate, but this is up there with the best. The ability to templatize the parsed results and use llm's provides lots of possibilities. Have been really loving it!

I've been using web clipper for about 1 month on my browser and have been really impressed at how well it integrates with Obsidian. I was expecting it to be a little "situational", but I've found myself using it at least once, pretty much every single day. It's a real time saver. If you use Obsidian, I'd encourage you to give it a try. :)
Extremely powerful and useful web clipper! I love how easy it is to customize the way web pages are clipped into my obsidian vault!
This is really the best clipper ever. When you add in the templates and the fact that you can save into any vault and folder, it's just so great - the best web clip program available - just like Obsidian is the best notes program available.
It just works. Highlight what you want, hit the shortcut, and it's in your vault - clean, readable, in Markdown. No fluff, no weird formatting. Custom templates? Easy. Smart triggers? Surprisingly useful. Total time-saver. Solid 5/5.
I absolutely love this add-on for Obsidian notes! It offers an easy clip for many things (like extracting time-stamps from videos and importing them in a readable format into your notes!) and is very easy to use thanks to the community around it. Kepano, the creator, is a truly humble person who shares a lot of his work with us. I appreciate that he made it free. They're very helpful and responsive in addressing any queries the community may have. Keep up the amazing work!
Not only the best obsidian chrome extension but after trying all Markdown clippers is SOTA in this area
