Googleでの検索結果で突如謎のページで飛ぶようリダイレクト設定が行われるように。 よくよくみると検索結果の頭に謎のマークがあったのでこれを開いてみるとこの拡張機能のIDが。 機能を停止させてみると正常に戻ったので、この機能が悪さしていることが判明。 広告収入を得たいのであれば堂々とそれを明示すれば良いのですが、 更新履歴にも書かず隠れてこんな機能を追加するのは流石に信用に値しません。 便利に使わせていただきましたが、アドウェアと見なして削除させていただきます。

DO NOT INSTALL CONTAINS MALWARE. This extension used to be fine and very helpful it now redirects a lot of sites that you visit which contain purchases to affiliate links. Not only this ublock identifies the links they pass you through as untrustworthy and adware would highly recommend everyone to report this extension and uninstall so it can get taken down.

You will want to create the directories to save the files in advance and then tell Chrome where to save them but otherwise it works well. You will be warned to change the browser settings not to prompt for each file's download location and will need to change that before you start as well. The pages I downloaded had thumbnails and larger images and the extension downloaded both but since the file names were near identical, it was easy to delete the thumbnails manually. This might not work if you have thousands of files but it is practical if you have hundreds. Downloads were very fast. I didn't see any of the crashing reported by others but I am using a fairly robust computer. I downloaded about 500MB of .jpg and .png files (no issue with being forced to download.svg as others reported) from a Squarespace 7.1 photo gallery.

EDIT: you can lie to others how much you want, little scammer, soon the extension will be taken down so it's best if you find another way to scam people elsewhere. ---- "Please do not mislead users!" you're such a scumbag. You're injecting malware in people's browsers and don't want to be called out. Get a real job if you're struggling so much to pay rent. I bet your family is really proud of having raised a scammer. Shame on you! For the people who see this, please report the extension as suspicious here on Chrome Web Store and file a complaint in Google Support Forum so hopefully they will take this malware down and people that don't know any better won't install it.

I've used this plugin for a long time but they must have recently added some ad and tracking stuff that is redirecting URLs to the wrong place. No matter what the developer claims, this is unacceptable. This is going beyond just trying to make a buck off of affiliate links. This is malware.
