Its a chrome extension. This unannounced change is absolutely unacceptable to previous users and new. These new practices is not a justification just to "support the development", its a chrome extension, once its done 0 maintenance is necessary unless there's a major chrome update. There's 0 upkeep costs for a chrome extension. Regardless of the chrome policy, it's not a justification, this is absolutely shameless. The only extension that this may be acceptable is an adblocker, which is constantly being updated everyday. An extension like this is getting an update once a year with minimal code change. Recently I started seeing the links of my Google results have been replaced with affiliate links. To be honest, I wasn't aware that this would happen when I installed the extension, but now when I look at the extension page, it is clearly stated. Well, if this piece of information is there since the first place, it's fair enough - it's just me who didn't read thoroughly. To the developer: Since it is quite sensitive to change the links of search results, I would suggest you to make the "Information for users!" more obvious, with bold and color if possible. I appreciate your work on the extension, so I'll keep using it, but I believe there are people out there who feel uncomfortable with this. A more obviously "warning" would keep your extension from getting low ratings.

This extension is ***CLICKJACKING YOUR SEARCH RESULTS AND REPLACING THEM WITH AFFILIATE LINKS *** Really disappointed in this extension and I can't find a way to report it to the extension store to be removed. When this extension is installed you will start to see tiny little "s" icons for "sponsored". This is in fact click-jacking your search results with the developers own affiliate links so when you click them the links redirect you through affiliate sites such as shareasale. This behaviour has absolutely nothing to do with the functionality of the plugin and this plugin deserves to be removed and the developer permanently banned for such underhanded behavior. In many circumstances this clickjacking actually breaks your browser search functionality for example with localized search results or with other referral links. I only noticed it because all of a sudden almost all of my google searches were being redirected through sharasale and I couldn't figure out why all these paid ads were getting through my ad blocker. I even ended up running several virus scans!!! Before I saw the tiny little "s" icon next to all of my search results. Developers you should be ashamed of yourselves.

This is one of the best image downloaders that I have used! I have downloaded in tried hundreds of extensions! And nothing has ever worked! But this is one of the best I have used so far! It does everything I asked for! I highly recommend this app! It even downloads videos that I didn't expect it to but it did. I hope this app stays around because this is my number one downloader extension! I can now uninstall all the BS so-called image and video downloaders. good job on the publisher on this one!

Like another user recently said, "THIS EXTENSION REPLACES YOUR SEARCH RESULTS WITH AD LINKS. (admitab dot com)" The dev said it's only for linking blah blah. This is 100% UNACCEPTABLE. I DO NOT want my links messed with. Find another more legit way to make money if that is the reason. What ends up happening is I search for something on google and I see an amazon link to the product I'm looking for. Because of this link hijacking, instead of going to that product on amazon, it goes to the home amazon site. This completely BREAKS google searches. Until this is removed, I will not be using this extension again and I suggest everyone else drop it as well. Redirecting links is just not cool.
