The extension doesn't work properly at the moment because it is unable to login on its own. FIX: However, if you go to www.mendeley.com and log in manually, the extension will work again afterwards.

Seit einiger Zeit funktioniert der Wep Importer im Chrome-Browser nicht mehr (Bei Edge hingegen schon ohne das ich was anders mache). Er loggt mich automatisch über Shibbletooth bei meiner Uni ein und dann poppt auf "Fast Fertig" und "Anmelden oder registrieren". Wenn ich das klicke, lande ich wieder bei dieser Seite und dann wieder und dann wieder. Möchte ich mich ohne Institution anmelden, geht das bei Chrome nicht, weil er mich automatisch dafür einloggt.

A work around that seems to be working for me: have a tab with your main mendeley library pulled up, and use the extension here- it seems to log in better. Sometimes it doesn't, but refreshing just this tab seems to work well and then I'm not losing my spot in articles. Once it successfully opens and is giving you the option to cite mendeley, close out of the extension on this tab, then open the extension on the tab you actually want to use it on, and (for the most part) I have been able to get things to sync to my library. I do a 'test' launch of the extension on my mendeley tab before every article I actually want, and get it to work there first before trying on a more important page. I also can't seem to close the extension on the other pages fairly often, but I prefer to read and highlight within mendeley anyway. Hopefully they will patch whatever error is occuring on the back end. The extension used to work very well, I'm guessing a recent update messed it up.
