Mendeley Web Importer detects article identifiers on the page you are viewing and automatically retrieves metadata and PDF full texts (where available) for you to add to your library. You just need to be viewing an article or a list of references in the browser and click on the Mendeley Web Importer extension icon in the toolbar.
You'll need a Mendeley account to save, read and cite the articles you import. To sign up and receive 2GB free storage space, visit https://www.mendeley.com

Probably the worst software I have ever used, uninstalled and I will use other methods.
Constant freezing, needing to refresh a page for the extension to work again, and sign-in on every use becomes very annoying very quickly
Super slow and doesn't work half of the time. Everytime you want to add a new PDF to your library it has to go through a sign-in process and even after that you have to refresh the page for the extension window to show up. I recommend using Direct Paper Importer its much smoother and faster. It has its own restrictions but I found it to be much more comfortable to work with. Even despite it having much worse UI.
why it doesn't work anymore in chrome?
it does not work on chrome
a lot of times it didnt work, I always had to refresh the page and quickly click it in the next second.
Se puede corregir el error siguiendo este tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKOAV6la8Mk&t=64s El problema se da porque en la nueva actualización de Chrome viene por defecto el bloqueo de ventanas emergentes. Por ese motivo al dar click en el plugin este no se abre. Seguí el tutorial y volvió a como estaba antes!
No carga el contenigo de mi bibliografia desde la actualización del pluging de word antes no tenia ese problema
