Invaluable, when it functions properly. There have been more than a few occasions where I have had to submit disputes for missing miles along with the receipts from the associated purchases and/or hotel stays. My advice to other users is to monitor your account activity to ensure you're receiving miles accordingly.

Great way to add miles while doing your regular shopping. Sometimes they have "Specials" like the Sirius XM radio deal for 1,500 miles. Great way to get some fresh new music, pods, and talk radio along with some sirius-ly great AAdvantage miles. See what I did there??? ENJOY!

No matter if I'm consciously trying to earn points by taking advantage of a great mileage deal, or if I'm shopping for some necessity and pleasantly surprised that a store is in the American Airlines eShopping mall, I always get the most out of my money and miles. It always reminds me when a store is included, and saves me the hassle of going through the American Airlines site. Best of all: I get notified when points are deposited. I definitely don't feel like it's slowing down chrome or anything, either. I was suspicious because I tend to distrust Chrome extensions, but... This was for sure worth it.

Always having to follow up with AA to chase after miles that were properly earned. You have to wait 15 days to contact them. Then, it's a lot of back and forth. I've been waiting over a month to be credited miles from a large purchase. I submitted a timely, full claim with all relevant proof...nothing. Sites like ebates track your purchases much more consistently.
