This extension will make mailto: links open in a Gmail compose window. Nothing more, nothing less.
* Supports Google Apps accounts
* Works on javascript-inserted links
* Includes option of working on bcc: fields
It supports to, cc, subject, and body (and optionally bcc) fields, and is made to be compatible with RFC2368, the mailto: scheme standard.
It doesn't modify the mailto:address itself, so you can still see the link in the status bar when you hover over it, which allows you to easily read the target at a glance.

i've been using it for a long time. simple and great.
It worked for a while, then disappeared, either with v.27 or with the introduction of a separate enterprise account pushed onto my machine.
Doesn't work in Chrome Version 27.0.1453.110 Running on Fedora 19 Beta.
why must I add another stupid background app instead of just having a simple radio button defining if I use gmail as my default mailto. I think its time for me to consider a different browser.
Does what is says. Just don't forget to restart Chrome before start using this.
Работи, но е тъпо да ползваме приложение предвид факта, че си имаше вградено такова.
Really comes in handy! Unfortunately I have to disable it when using a WYSIWYG editor. Selecting mailto links that are not within a "contenteditable" area would fix this problem for me. Please solve. :)
Doesn't work.
Does what I wanted it to do! Satisfied :-)
It doesn't work with Chrome 24.0.1312.52 m. Any suggestions?
