High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

Text, borders, etc. look really nice with the inverted scheme. But as others have said, it inverts some (not all) pictures. Which makes it useless, frankly.
I *really* like the functionality, but this thing maxes a CPU core just by scrolling Google News or Google+. Slashdot and other sites doesn't have this problem, so I assume it's falling into a scripting rats' nest. Going to uninstall for now but I hope it improves.

It's good, but plz we need an option to do not change images contrast, thats the only problem with this extension.
I can't scroll to the end of some pages when i use it.
I really like how nice it is on my eyes, but lots of images get their colors changed too. Also, with some websites, the extension really slows down scrolling.
It's really good programm for eyes=) It's much easy to read a lot of text on webpages. But this programm has one serious bug. It changes picture's colorors.And it does it very strange! Please, don't change nothing but text and background!!!!
Would be great if didn't have this incredible performance hit on any inverted mode on facebook and some other sites.
Helps to notice my floaters less. Agree with others about reversed images.
