High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

I could not see any color like a blind. how can I reset original color of google
This would have been a "5" if the default colors had been the "default" on install, OR if the install routine had told me how to get back to the default colors--which I have now found. I don't need god-awful garish colors. I simply need a little more contrast between the background and the nearly invisible grey font that modern web designers somehow think is "cute" but is, in reality, the devil's spawn in real life. May every web and font designer who does not understand the need for clear, crisp, text with adequate contrast burn in Hell until they adequately suffer from their own inventions.

Pretty awful for older and poor eyesight person and results awful and confusing
This sounded like a great idea. Loaded it up and it does change the window to high contrast or inverted colors. The drawback is that it also changes all the pictures to look like negatives. Unloading. Will try again in the future if they fix that.
Quando a extensão está ativa e mando imprimir como PDF, arquivo gerado fica todo EMBAÇADO. !! Para resolver o problema, DESATIVE a extensão, imprima e reative-a !!
I like the option of being able to set up or choose a High Contrast option because I am very sensitive to light & all of my surroundings but mostly of light.
Great extension for night use, but scrolling is noticeably choppier (even with color scheme on normal). Would be appreciated if the extension supported individual settings for different subdirectories on the same domain - see google.com and google.com/maps Also, if the extension could not invert colours that were already dark, that would be great. The extension should also not invert images and video (eg YouTube)
