This extension bypasses "Google Lens" results and takes you to the normal image results like how it used to be.
It also adds a "Search Google for image" context menu item that will open the image results in a new tab.
Post-installation instructions for manually removing the old "Search image with Google Lens" context menu item (the one that opens results in the Side Bar) can be found at https://github.com/fanfare/disablegooglelens/blob/master/CHROME.md

doesn't work anymore
Now if only this also removed the "Related searches" injected divs in image results...
Needs an update Chrome update as of May 25, 2024 make this extension not working

Thank goodness this extension exists. I cant stand google lens
Still working for me on Chrome Version 122.0.6261.112 for Windows
There's a couple people in reviews saying that this doesn't work anymore but it still works for me on the current version of Chrome (123.0.6312.107) on macOS Ventura in April 2024. I still see "Search Google for image" in the context menu (it has a camera icon with the X through it) and it works perfectly for me! Great extension, finally I can sort by small/medium/large again and see way more than 5 images on screen at the same time :)

Since last Chrome update ( for me, March 2024) absolutely nothing can reverse image search easily anymore - not this extension or any other. You have to save your image, and manually go to google images and upload it to search. Utter garbage :(
De plus en plus de mal à avoir l'ancienne version de Google Image (Il ne trouve plus rien), je suis passé sur "yandex.com/images", qui est le pendant Russe de Google et du même niveau pour trouver des images.
