This extension bypasses "Google Lens" results and takes you to the normal image results like how it used to be.
It also adds a "Search Google for image" context menu item that will open the image results in a new tab.
Post-installation instructions for manually removing the old "Search image with Google Lens" context menu item (the one that opens results in the Side Bar) can be found at https://github.com/fanfare/disablegooglelens/blob/master/CHROME.md

Finally, I can get rid of that godawful, downright useless search engine. Thank you.
I'm getting the 'blank white page' issue :(
thank god, google lens sucks tbh
Thank you so much. I rely on searching for images and i needed that link to the larger images of the image i reverse search for. This was a life savior.
Occasionally, it may fail. Need to close and reopen
Thank you! It adds a new button at context menu "Search Google for image". you have to use that button instead of "Search image with Google". in short use the below one the one that has magnifier icon beside it
Perfeito!
Thank you so, so much for this. Lens is an awful service (despite what all the - I assume - undeclared Google advertizers defending it over on Reddit will say), removing functionality, readability, and the very basic parts of what "reverse image searching" is. This works flawlessly, and does what Google should've done a long, long time ago: trash Lens, or at any rate stop pushing it as a "reverse image search" when it very clearly isn't.
Excellent!
My life savior, thank you so much!
