Distractions are hidden by a simple, empty button. To show the distraction, you simply click the button.
What you hide is completely up to you. For every distraction Nudge hides, you have two options:
★ Hide the distraction at all?
★ If hiding, show the button to unhide?
Nudge comes with 14 hidden distractions across 7 sites including X, Facebook, TikTok, Bluesky and YouTube, and we’re rapidly adding to the list.

Great app, but it's really unstable. Works only 30% of the time. I'm tired of reconfiguring all the options again and again. Also, the buttons in menu stopped working. Developers please, make it work consistently. Update: Just started working again. Don't know the reason why.
I always wanted app like this. Nudge helps to stay focused. It helps me use the social networks instead of the social networks abusing me and my primitive reptilian brain. Cheers.

Great extension that makes reflex clicking onto websites harder to do! The only improvement I would like to see is customization options for each website. For example, I would like to make Facebook always have the Defaulter and Rainbow Timer 24/7. But for Reddit I just need the Defaulter during school hours, and then have it off during the evenings.
UPDATE: Fixed! The maker was really supportive and fixed the issue promptly. Thank you, everything runs perfectly! ---Old comment---: Hi, this is one of the best productivity extensions I have ever used and would really love to give it a better rating. Unfortunately, I've been having a pretty annoying issue with it. Every time I close Chrome my settings are lost. I would be very grateful if this was fixed and am more than happy to update my rating after that.
Good extension until it crushed. sadly Nudge is not working any more in my computer. does any one have an alternative??
Genuinely has cut down my time spent on certain sites, specifically Facebook. It also feels pretty good when I get feedback letting me know that I haven't been on those sites for a long time. Highly recommend this if you want to curb your addiction.
Nudge is great. It's a simple and straightforward way to take back some control over how you spend time and attention on the internet. No condescension, no hidden pressures.
